The training programs consist of and are limited to teaching the dog and dog’s owner the disciplines required to promote manageable behaviour, stop unwanted behaviour and to enhance the dog’s receptiveness to future training.

DOGS WITH ATTITUDE agrees to train OWNER and OWNER’S dog in a reasonable manner consistent with balanced training principles. However, the effectiveness of completed dog training program depends upon many factors over which DOGS WITH ATTITUDE has no control. Such factors include, but are not limited to: the future health of the dog, the frequency and effectiveness of training reinforcement (practice) and how well the OWNER takes direction and uses the training techniques.

OWNER understands and agrees that genetics and environmental history (e.g. past experiences, lack of training, nutrition, health, etc.) may affect the dog’s behaviour.

OWNER agrees to maintain the dog’s training after the training program is complete and understands that because the training of a dog is a fluid process, not fully in the control of any party, there are no guarantees of any specific result, and there will be no refunds for this training.

Although DOGS WITH ATTITUDE will use all reasonable care to train the owner’s dog, DOGS WITH ATTITUDE cannot guarantee that the dog will respond adequately to commands at all times.  OWNER agrees that DOGS WITH ATTITUDE will not be liable for any damage or loss resulting from the dog’s failure to respond to any command(s) or behaviour modification for which DOGS WITH ATTITUDE has trained the dog.

Dog Owner Is Responsible For The Dog At All Times

Should the dog injure any person or should the dog’s failure to respond to any command(s) result in damage to property or of any person (including the OWNER or DOG), OWNER agrees to absolve DOGS WITH ATTITUDE from any and all obligations and to pay any such damage to such person.  OWNER further agrees to hold DOGS WITH ATTITUDE harmless from any and all such claims.  OWNER is 100% responsible for his/her dog and of his/her dog’s actions, 100% of the time.

Media Release Clause

I consent that I may be recorded or photographed in or around my participation at a DOGS WITH ATTITUDE event or service. I acknowledge and agree that DOGS WITH ATTITUDE may use such videography, photography or audio recordings (“Media”), including my name, likeness, or image, and/or the name, likeness, or image of my dog, for marketing and training purposes, in or around the marketing, promotion, or sale of any product or service of DOGS WITH ATTITUDE or in or around any other media regarding DOGS WITH ATTITUDE without any additional compensation or payment to me. If I do not want to consent to this recording or use, I must notify DOGS WITH ATTITUDE in writing before my participation in their service or event.

This cntract constitutes the entire agreement between DOGS WITH ATTITUDE and OWNER and may not be changed except by a written agreement signed by DOGS WITH ATTITUDE and OWNER.

OWNER has read the above CONTRACT AND AGREES TO ITS TERMS. By booking a program, you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by all of its terms.

Payment Default

If OWNER fails to pay an amount when due, under this agreement, DOGS WITH ATTITUDE shall be entitled, at any time, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel OWNER’S program and to require owner to immediately pay all past due balances.  Suspension or cancellation shall not relieve OWNER from the obligation to pay any unpaid balances.  Any payments owing from OWNER to DOGS WITH ATTITUDE that are not received when due, shall bear interest at the highest rate permitted by law.  If OWNER fails to pay any amount due to the DOGS WITH ATTITUDE when due, OWNER shall pay all costs and expenses of collection incurred by DOGS WITH ATTITUDE including reasonable attorney’s fees and expenses.

No Cash Refunds

If, through no fault of DOGS WITH ATTITUDE the dog training program that was contracted for by OWNER cannot be completed, DOGS WITH ATTITUDE will NOT refund any portion of money paid.  The credit that the OWNER will receive will entitle the OWNER to training for the dog or a substitute dog, and this credit is transferable– if first lesson has not yet been completed. If first lesson has already been completed, training is not transferable to another dog.  All private training sessions must be completed within THREE (3) months after initial training session is used, otherwise OWNER forfeits sessions.

Payment & Cancellations

Payment is chargeable either before or at the initial consultation unless agreed otherwise. You are politely requested to give at least 48 hours notice of any rearrangement or cancellation. Changes within 24 hours will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

I may at times make references to other informational websites, pictures, videos or other training instructors. We assume no responsibility for the content of all other sites nor shall we be liable for any damages or injury occurring from that content. Please use solely at your discretion and always have great consideration for your and your pet’s safety.

The personal information that we collect will depend on your relationship with us and the service you have requested.

  • your identity and your contact details including; name, address, email address, phone number.
  • IP address or MAC address when using our website or mobile applications (and other associated details, including the city associated with your IP or MAC address, the date and time of your visit to our website, pages viewed, the URL of the website that you viewed before our website and the type of browser you use);

Most of the time, we collect your personal information so that we can provide you with our services and any products that you may have requested and to enter into and perform our contract with you; record keeping.

We will not disclose, share or sell your information to any other parties, without your written consent.

Marketing And Your Personal Information

We use personal information that we hold about you to identify services and products that may be of interest to you.

We may contact you by email, text message or other digital service (such as through our applications that you install on your device such as mobile or iPad), phone or post to let you know about specials, offers and promotions, or any new or existing products or services that may be of interest to you pre and post training.

You can contact us at any time if you no longer wish to receive marketing materials from us. If you receive a marketing email from us, you can opt-out from that particular category of marketing email by clicking on the “Manage Preferences” link or the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email.

Storage And Security Of Your Personal Information

We take reasonable steps to protect the information that we hold about you from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

We do this by having physical and electronic security systems and by limiting who can access your personal information. We also have online and network security systems in place for our websites, so that the information you provide us online is protected and secure. However, because of the nature of the internet, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.
